At MOBDA, we are committed to creating an environment that is anti-racist, equitable, and inclusive. We recognize that belly dance is a cultural art form that anyone can take part in regardless of their race, ethnicity, body size, gender, or background. We are dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of our museum, and we actively work to challenge and dismantle systems of oppression. We believe that by fostering a safe and welcoming space, amplifying marginalized voices, and promoting anti-racism, equity, and inclusion, we can contribute to a more just and equitable world.
